W.52nd Street Condominium

Currently in the last months of construction, AO is working with Cadence Property Group on a new residential condominium building on a site stretching between West 51st and 52nd Streets in Hell’s Kitchen. The design takes advantage of the irregular ‘flag’ lot to create a special entry experience: with the residences stacked on the large northern portion of the site, one approaches  from the south through a linear, tiered garden. Residences overlooking this interior garden have generous balconies and the main roof will offer more outdoor social and recreational space. To maximize floor area and ceiling heights within the restrictions of the Clinton Special Zoning District, the ground floor is depressed several feet below the sidewalk level; the resulting triplex garden units open to the generous rear yard.
